  we come together and open our hearts to ourselves\, to each other\, to th
 e world and to the Divine.\n\nSo I invite you to join us for a heart-openi
 ng evening of mantra and song where we'll sing short devotional songs and 
 chants from a variety of traditions - mostly Yogic\, Buddhist\, Sufi and C
 eltic.\n\nMany people find the practice of letting go into the flow of rhy
 thm and sound\, a soothing\, releasing and uplifting experience.\n\nThere 
 is no need to be 'good at singing'\, to 'be musical'\, or to be able to ho
 ld a rhythm and you don't need to have done anything like this before!\n\n
 Kirtan is a practise from Bhakti Yoga which is a path of yoga that is abou
 t love\, service and remembering our connection to the Divine and it doesn
 't involve physical movements or forms.\n\n'Keep singing\, it uncovers the
