We offer regular Buddhist practice sessions on Wednesday evenings from 7.30pm until 8.15pm and on Saturday mornings from 9.30am until 10.15am (we do some walking meditation in the temple garden first from 9am – get in touch if you’d like to join us for this). We suggest a donation of £7 for each of these events or whatever you can afford, whether that’s more or less.

All are welcome to join us, whether you’ve attended Buddhist practice before or not. We do offer extra instruction for first timers on the first week of every month but any week is fine!

There is very limited parking at the temple – do get in touch if you are disabled and need to reserve a spot. Otherwise there is plenty of free roadside parking a minute’s drive out of town (towards Worcester) on the left hand side. Do arrive up to ten minutes before practice starts and leave your shoes in the porch. Do come straight in (the door will be open) and someone will be there to meet you and show you where to go etc. We often have people who haven’t come before so you probably won’t be alone.

Our practice sessions begin with a Dharma talk and then we do some silent sitting, some seated chanting and we finish with reciting the refuges and precepts together. You can read more on this page: What to expect during practice sessions or view some of our past practice sessions on our Youtube channel here.

If you have any questions about our practice do get in touch with Kaspa and Satya at hello@brightearth.org. More information on coronavirus safety here.

You are welcome to stay afterwards for an optional cup of tea and a chat – if you have any questions you can ask them here or by email.

We look forward to welcoming you!
    Namo Amitabha.
