We offer regular Buddhist practice sessions on Wednesday evenings from 7.30pm until 8.15pm and on Saturday mornings from 9.30am until 10.15am (we do some walking meditation in the temple garden first from 9am – get in touch if you’d like to join us for this). Arrive up to ten minutes before the start times.

We suggest a donation of £7 for each of these events or whatever you can afford, whether that’s more or less.

All are welcome to join us, whether you’ve attended Buddhist practice before or not. We do offer extra instruction for first timers on the first week of every month but any week is fine!

There is no parking at the temple – although we can make a space available for disabled parking – do get in touch to reserve it. Otherwise there is plenty of free roadside parking a minute’s drive out of town (towards Worcester) on the left hand side. Do arrive up to ten minutes before practice starts and leave your shoes in the porch. Do come straight in (the door will be open) and someone will be there to meet you and show you where to go etc. We often have people who haven’t come before so you probably won’t be alone.

Our practice sessions begin with a Dharma Glimpse by a member of our community. We’re always looking for new Dharma Glimpses – you can read our guidelines here, and read examples here. Do send us one (hello@brightearth.org) if you feel inspired! We then do some silent sitting, some seated chanting, reciting the refuges and precepts, and a talk from one of Bright Earth’s Buddhist teachers. You can read more on this page: What to expect during practice sessions or view some of our past practice sessions on our YouTube channel here.

If you have any questions about our practice do get in touch with Kaspa and Satya at hello@brightearth.org.

You are welcome to stay afterwards for an optional cup of tea and a chat – if you have any questions you can ask them here or by email.

We look forward to welcoming you!
    Namo Amitabha.
