“I was extremely grateful for the refuge provided by the Temple and the kindness of everyone involved. I had come out of a very difficult situation with nowhere else to go and Amida Mandala provided a safe space for me to be while I recovered from the fallout, whilst also offering a spacious and spiritually nourishing, homely environment from which to co-ordinate my new life.” Dayamay

We exist because of the generosity of ordinary people (like you) who think what we’re all doing is worthwhile. Without Christina, who donated her house in Finsbury Park when she died and which was sold to buy the temple, we wouldn’t be here. It is your generosity that allow us to keep going. Read on for how you can help.
“Since being diagnosed with a serious illness, I have taken great comfort in the temple and the warmth and love it, and everyone who is part of it exudes.” Ed Gerrard
Amida Trust’s aim is to spread the Dharma. The Dharma is a container for love and the Temple and our overseas projects are different houses for love. They are spaces in which we have faith in each other and foster faith in good things, in creativity, in community and in goodness for its own sake.
There are continuing maintenance costs in a 200 year old building. We continue to fund Suvidya, a full time minister in Delhi (pictured teaching).
“Service in the community gives me a sense of belonging and achievement. I gain a great deal from my service to the Amida community vastly more than I put in and recommend anyone interested to try it. This could be your spiritual home, as it has become mine.” Richard Thorogood
